Therapeutic Massage

$110

At Body In Balance Massage Therapy, we believe massage is an essential component of a healthy lifestyle—not just an indulgence.

This relaxation-focused massage incorporates a variety of techniques and strokes to ease both physical and mental stress. It helps to boost circulation, improve skin tone, and relieve tired, overworked muscles. Pressure can be customized from very light to medium, depending on your needs and preferences.

Deep Tissue Massage

$115

This moderate to deep pressure massage is designed to enhance flexibility, reduce soreness, and support muscle recovery from overexertion or intensive physical activity. Incorporating myofascial release techniques, the session targets restrictions in the fascia—the connective tissue surrounding muscles and structures—to address inflammation, tension, and trauma. Ideal both before and after demanding workouts, Deep Tissue Massage promotes improved mobility and long-term muscular health.

Hot/Cold Massage

$125

Experience a therapeutic balance of cold and hot stones designed to support the body’s natural healing process. Alternating temperatures help to disperse congestion, reduce inflammation, and ease muscle spasms. While cold stones calm and soothe, hot stones provide deep warmth to soften muscle tissue and stimulate circulation, promoting relaxation and enhanced recovery in areas of tension.

Enhancements

Activate Isolated Stretching

Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a powerful technique that promotes healing by improving flexibility, strength, and joint health. It’s especially helpful for those with chronic injuries, arthritis, age-related limitations, or degenerative conditions like MS and Parkinson’s. AIS works by encouraging balanced muscle tone, which helps stabilize and protect joints. This technique supports long-term mobility and resilience. It can be used on its own or combined with massage therapy for a more complete wellness experience.

Basic Buccal ~ Face Therapy

For those seeking relief from tension in the muscles of the face and jaw. Buccal massage is an intra-oral (inside the mouth) massage that allows the muscles deep within the cheek and jaw to be released from the inside out. This therapy can help alleviate TMJ pain, associated jaw tension, and headaches. The majority of this work is performed inside the mouth and requires gloved hands. If you have TMJ issues, jaw tension, and/or headaches, we recommend regular visits.

Facial Sculpting and Buccal Massage

This advanced service combines face sculpting and buccal (intraoral) massage. While this is not a traditional full-service facial, it does include a cleansing and moisturizing treatment. Face sculpting utilizes deep and stimulating massage techniques to release tension and lift the muscles, leaving you with a more relaxed-looking face —a natural facelift. Advanced massage techniques that involve deep and specific movements lift, tone, and release the muscles of the face and jaw. This restores facial posture, reduces puffiness, eases jaw tension, and improves the appearance and elasticity of the skin. As a result, muscles return to their healthy tone, facial posture improves, and skin becomes smooth, restoring the face to its natural shape. Buccal massage is the intra-oral component of the treatment that allows the muscles deep within the cheek and jaw to be released from the inside out. This therapy can help alleviate TMJ pain, associated jaw tension, and headaches. This work is performed inside the mouth and requires gloved hands. If you want a more visible/longer-lasting lift or if you have TMJ issues/jaw tension, we recommend regular visits.

Jess is awesome! I am very particular about whom I go to due to an artificial hip and two back plates. She is very skilled at finding and releasing the thight spots! The room has low lighting, is quiet, and the table is heated. I am a regular and recommend highly.

The atmosphere is professional, comfortable, and relaxing. I have been getting a deep tissue massage for quite some time here, over 6 years. This had improved my health and ability to remain active at my age. Jessica is a well qualified professional who understand her patients needs.

FAQ’s

  • Massage therapy is much more than a luxury — it's a powerful tool for supporting your physical and emotional health. Whether you're looking for stress relief, pain management, or simply a way to unwind, bodywork can play a vital role in your wellness routine. Research shows massage helps reduce anxiety, improve sleep, increase circulation, and boost energy and focus.

In fact, many health conditions respond positively to massage. Studies have shown it can relieve symptoms in people with arthritis, asthma, high blood pressure, and even premenstrual syndrome. Massage is also increasingly integrated into medical settings, from neonatal care to post-surgical recovery. Beyond the physical benefits, many clients report greater emotional clarity and balance after a session — making massage a truly holistic approach to wellness.

  • Your only job is to relax as fully as possible. Closing your eyes can help you shift your awareness from your thoughts to your body. Let your body become soft and heavy. Your therapist may gently move your limbs during the session — allow them to do so without trying to help. Breathe deeply and let go of tension as it’s located.

  • Talking is not required. You’re welcome to be quiet and enjoy the experience. However, feel free to give feedback if you'd like more or less pressure, a different technique, or extra attention on a certain area.

  • Please let your therapist know if you have any injuries, medical concerns, or areas that are especially tense or sore. You’ll also be asked to complete a health history form before your first visit.

  • You may undress to your level of comfort. Many clients choose to be unclothed for their massage, but you’ll always be properly draped with a sheet or blanket, with only the area being worked on exposed.

  • Your therapist may use oils, gels, or creams during the session. Let them know ahead of time if you have allergies or concerns. Some oil may get in your hair or around your neck, but it will be wiped off unless you prefer otherwise.

  • Yes! Falling asleep is common and a sign that your body and mind are truly relaxing. Your therapist will gently wake you if needed.

  • When the session ends, feel free to remain still for a few moments. Take your time getting up and let yourself ease back into the rest of your day.
